Oracle's ILT books which I got from Oracle when I attended the B&R course. Plus I had Couchman's book.

Hi Julian, how reliable is the Couchman's book on B& R for 8i. I have a copy of Sybex (B &R) but I heard it's terrible. If I read the Couchman's book for B&R and practice STS should this be enough to challenge the B&R OCP exam?? Thanks

Couchman's book is enough if you have done B&R. It has many question close to the ones given at the real exams.

Try to understand very well how RMAN works (in case U R not familiar with it).

i also have the Sybex Book for A&A / B&R and i have the same concerns. i'm currently preparing for my B&R exam, and i was wondering if Sybex and STS would be enough to help me pass this exam. i also heard a lot of comments that the B&R section of the book is terrible!

what materials are you gonna be using to prepare for this exam? do you know where i can get the ILT or Student Guide for R&R? coz, i personally think its the best exam preparation material.
