Hi all , if by mistake i creaete a role with name ALL .. and grant it to a user saying ALTER USER X1 DEFAULT ROLE ALL ; what will happen ? another small query rgd pctfree and pctused . if i change the param. when they wil come into the effect ? needa i bounce the instance ?

When you try to creat a role with the name ALL you'll get "ORA-01937: missing or invalid role name"Quote:

No you don't need to bounce your db, those parameters are effective immediatelly.Quote:
