ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [psdufa], [1],

Hi --

I added
utl_file_dir = C:\Oracle\admin\mars\udump

line to init.ora file, so that we can use UTL_FILE package.
When i ran a simple script to test, i got following error message.

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [psdufa], [1], [], [], [],[], [], [].

Does anyone know, what is the problem.

I am using 8.1.5 on NT.

C:\Oracle\admin\mars\udump has wrie permmisions for the user running script ? All the users whomever want to use utl_file_dir must be having read,write permissions.

I don't think thats causing ora-600 internal errors. Nothing much you can do other than escalating to Oracle Support.

Your Database is suffering from corruption , you need to recover your database
