import is to much slow

i am importing a single table of arround 30,0000 rows through imp
and it is taking arround 6 hr. to complete.

is there anyway to improve the speed ?

May be you can try increasing the BUFFER Parameter in imp.

any LOB's involved??

You doing it thru a GUI or thru command line?

I have found command line to be much faster.
