secondly does any one know where i can get practice questions for the oracle database operator track please i am taking the exam in a week!

On Win 2K user interface has been changed little bit.
Settings --> Controlpanel --> Adminstrative Tools --> Shortcut to Services
Well! You can use always your Oracle Binaries like LSNRCTL for Listener services on the server to see the services.
