parameters usage in init.ora

Can some one expalin main paraemeters in init.ora and how are they useful and when they are created .

There are hundreds of init.ora parameters. They are all useful, but you will probably only be dealing with a few dozen of the basic ones. They are created in the init.ora file by the DBA.
