is there any way to retrieve rman backupset on TSM.

After using rman to backup database to tape(TSM), is there any way I can retrieve backupset from tape(TSM )?

by doing a restore?

If TSM picking up rman backup files as a regular file than u can as long as u know a file name, otherwise, if oracle client used you probably can't, rman will read it directly from a tape
