pass 016 - feed back

Hi all,
having just passed Network Administration yesterday.
Was not so hard, but I was thinking having missed out 3-4 question, but I have miss 13

There was 62 question, need 42 to pass

One question I still remember:

In a MTS environment when MTS_SERVERS = 0,
how many shared servers will be started?

In a MTS environment, what hapen whend a session is idle for longtime?
the dispatcher will disconect the client when a new
request ?
the connection will be disabled after one hour?
the connection stay enabled until the session ends?

Hello Jack,

I have study with couchman's book, and technical doc. from Oracle.
This exam is purely theoretic. In most of organisation, the single configuration you will utilize is local naming. I even was in a Oracle course that Oracle give to all parteners to promote OEM, lot of companies even do not utilize OEM.
So, the practice =0.
Just use STS to see where you have to work.
Even if I found that this exam is useleess, there are questions like 'what choice you have on that menu' I think I already have dicovered things like how to configure a cm proxy, so is not so useless. When you will need it in the real life you know where looking for.
So, lot of people said that is the eaziest, but beacause I am a practical guy, I found it hard enough, more 6 miss question to fail.
