Missing Package Body

We recently discovered during an attempted export that someone had deleted the Package Body for DBMS_SYS_SQL. The Package itself was still valid. We reran PRVTSQL.PLB (This is an Oracle 7.2.2.? database) and recreated the Package and Package Body.

Someone else suggested it was dangerous to recreate just that package. What would you suggest?

As long as nobody is using that package right now, I think that is a great idea.
