where can I get the free trial version of ERwin? If it is available as downloadable can someone tell me the site?

There is no downladable version of erwin.But you can download trail version of ER studio which is good.

there is. Platinum was bought by CA so u should go to CA's site. This is the download link

if u have any problem go to http://www.cai.com and click products A-Z, from E go to erwin and click on download trial version. I don't know how it works now, but u might have a rep call you to give a 30 day key. But also try the embarcadero. I heard very good reviews abt it.
