Get some manners

Surely your main steps are to make sure you know how to backup and recover the database.

You areto ensure the database is always available.

It is your job to maintain the performance of the database.

It's your job to fix everything instantly as far as the users are concerned.


Databases to the user couldn't be simpler. I click this button and I get a report. I put in the name here and I get this pretty info on my screen. I'm the only DBA here and it's a lonely life . No one knows the pain I go through maintaining 9 Live databases and more test ones.
