date of last rebuild of index
Is there any system table that records the date of last rebuild of index?

Thanks mate. Though not exact but it will suffice for my task. I forgot it almost.

I meant that it tells only the last DDL (which could be any DDL and not the index rebuild DDL). But it would server my purpose as there are only rebuild scripts issued on indexes here.

Exactly - May be I'm a little slow today but can't think on any ddl affecting an existing index that wouldn't relate to create or rebuild.

Hmm... I thought that 'coalesce' should also be the one but it is not as I just tried it.

I have also read the Course books by Oracle. Probably, I didn't find anywhere that 'alter index ... coalesce' is not a DDL.
But it does say that alter statement is a DDL and if 'coalesce' is not a DDL, then it is not mentioned anywhere there. Though, it's a good learn this thing.
