    I calm as an dead arctic elefant, it`s not my problem and never was.

    What I really need to solve at the moment is how to deal with freaking TOAD which does not like all this locally managed crap we got in 9.2 anymore - it screams 'Invalid variant operation' every time you try to access storage info.

    Interesting, what else will I find...

    Why don't you just use Enterprise manager that comes standard with 9iSR2.

    BTW, I believe that LMT are perfectly safe. It is my preference that we use them too. Unfortunately, I am forced to create 9iSR2 databases with DMT and rollback because we haven't certified to LMT yet. But we will. I think its safe to say that LMT's have been around long enough to be stable.

    well I am asking what problem you had with tablespace SYSTEM with earlier Oracle 9i version because you said you had problems and I would like to hear what

    if you cant answer it then fine, just dont invent thing you dont have a clue about
