    I should probably have said "we can still use bitmap indexes, but if they have more than one distinct value in them they are HOPELESSLY CORRUPTED"

    So we had to replce some with btree indexes, the others we just droped. we've gone from 18 indexed columns to 7. bit sad.

    I duuno if its the case with you, but in our systems, we do use Bit Maps every now and then on Dimension Tables/Very Large Tables and so with Distinct Keys more than 1!!

    We were fine with them on 8.1.7.4, and it's only some of our tables that are getting this corruption in 9.2.0.3.0.

    Unfortunately it's our most important fact table that is affected, so i't a pretty high-visibility issue.
