Once you get "EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully" your dump file is corrupt (it is not closed normaly), no matter if all the tables were exported successfully before the error occured. So I don't think you will be able to even read it with imp utility - it will complain at the very begining of the imp session and terminate immediately.
