I agree that designer is a bit complicated product but its really a powerful thing but to use it u should understand it as the back of your hand.
I learned Desg.6 from a CD provided by a third party called NetG Educations. It describes the designer in really a understandable way..!
Hope u can get it from the marker or download the trail version of it from the net.
