    Red face

I have Oracle 8.1.6 server on Windows 2000 and
I want to install on another computer (with my local network) on Windows Millennium a client.
What version of Oracle if any I can install that my server and client would communicate
    together?

Using the same CD of Oracle server 816 insert it in Windows ME and install the client software on this machine.

Generally , I communicated to Oracle server Versions 8.0.3,8.0.4,8.0.5,8.1.5,8.1.6 on NT/2000/HP-UX through Oracle client sides with the same and different versions simulatniously , no problem.
