Hi,
I´m trying to install Oracle 8.1.6 on a HP-UX 11.00 (64-bit)box but I keep getting an "Out of memory" error on the make.log file during the relinking phase (precisely at the ioracle64 target, makefile ins_rdbms.mk). I have an L1000 with 1GB of RAM and all the recommended patches described on the Oracle Installation Guide. I´ve also noticed that the Oracle Installer program is sucking up a lot of RAM through the installation process, this seems rather odd. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Thx,
Rod
