hrishy I typed the command wrongly as

RMAN>crosscheck backup completed between 'sysdate' and 'sysdate-30';

It should be

RMAN>crosscheck backup completed between 'sysdate-30' and 'sysdate';

as we are searching result from the previous 30 days to till date.

So this is returning me correct output which shows backup files as expired.

Sorry for inconvenience, hrishy I think you are very near to clear my problem as you have understood everything clearly from OS to database. Please help me.
