This certainly sounds reasonable. Depending on the size of your logs and the physical disks you're getting, I'd consider having a mirrored pair for the OS and put 8 drives in the 0+1 and put the logfiles on it. I'd guess you're getting at least 72G drives. For a 210G or smaller db (3x72) I'd be surprised if you're using more than about 10G for online logfiles. Now you're wasting 62G of space. I'd rather use the extra physical spindles on my 0+1 for overall throughput and utilization of space. But that's just my .02, and the way you have it is fine.
