Of the 4 'optional' management packs are available for GC (Grid
Control), we are using the Diagnostics Pack. We are currently only
using GC to monitor Dataguard in our environment. we want configure the tool to monitor and send alerts outside of the tool (email, page,etc.).

So is there a way to configure GC to send
alert/warning messages outside of the tool without using the Diagnostics pack.
