The Oracle 8.05 client takes approximatly 24 MB of space
during the install. I would like to put the bulk of the material
(excluding stuff in the WinNT/System32 onto a network drive
and allow all users to share it. Among other things I could
set the TNSNames.ora one place

My concern is that I might get a shared access error or priv. error because some of the files are required.

Is this possible, and if not, what files need to be stored locally
