Hi,

We are running Internet Service database, which is running 24 x 7. Oracle version is 8.0.4, running on Compaq PL5500 Server. Database size is around 1GB, running in Archive Log Mode.

But since last week, while browing, customers are receiving the following errors frequently..

HTTP1 / Server Too Busy.
(or)
Page cannot be displayed.

But when we checked Oracle database side, everything found to be OK. i.e. we are able to connect to all users using sqlplus and found to be faster as usual. So, we feel that there is no problem related to Database.

So, we informed ISP Support Team to check IIS processes. They tried to kill and restart some process called 'inetinfo.exe'. But as they are unable to kill, due to some error, everytime they are telling us to reboot the server.

On rebooting, the problem is also getting solved. But customers are unable to browse for around half-an-hour everytime this error comes..

So, we need some permanant solution in order to solve this problem... Can anybody advice in this regard...
