Thread: Uninstallation

    Hi

    Recently we migrated an Oracle 8.1.5 to 8.1.6, we placed both software in two different Oracle Homes in same machine. After two weeks of migration with database running on 8.1.6 for these 2 weeks we now want to uninstall 8.1.5 since it´s safe now. My question is to uninstall 8.1.5, other than change the enviroment variable from 8.1.6 to 8.1.5 do I need to do anything else so the Universal Installer wont try to uninstall anything in 8.1.6? And will uninstall binaries of 8.1.5 only?

    Actually, aren't you on NT? I'm not really sure but I would think there would be an option.

    Ops Sorry i forgot to mention this is HP-UX 11.0 64bits, Oracle 8.1.5 Enterprise Edition with all options installed (God knows why they installed everything when they didnt and dont use any of options at all :))
