    Red face upgrade ...is this true

    Is this true for upgrades


    Like when i upgrade from time to time from for example 9.1.2.3 to 9.2.3.2 , do i need to remove oracle home and reinstall stuff.

    Or there any upgrade versions are there


    I am confused ............

    No, install the two versions in different ORACLE_HOMEs.

    thanks!!

    Once i have 2 homes how do i move my my oracle files to the new home or how do i synchronize.What will happen to my registry entries.

    change your default ORACLE_HOME and any paths you my habve, then startup your database and migrate it according to the guide
