Maybe there is a networking issue from that NT mchien to the database server. Try performin tracert from dosprompt i.e.
C:\>tracert 134.343.33.1

also install this CAD application on a different machine and see what the outcome is. MAybe you need to do some Net8 SDU configuration o server and client. Look for net8 tuning on metalink.
