We are about to change our Accounting server from an application that uses an Oracle database with a package called Navision Attain which uses it's own proprietary database. The only method this new database allows access is thru an interpretive OBDC driver called C/ODBC. Has anyone been successful getting a connection between these two databases. And if so how ? So far I've been told I will have to setup a heterogeneous service on Oracle, but I'm not sure I know all of the steps involved in doing it or if in fact that is really what I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
