    Converting Database

    Hi,
    I don't have any practical experience in DBA.
    But here in my office I used to do the DBA basic duties like
    hot backup, recovery and standby database etc..

    Currently one of my friend company they are using Paradox database with Delphin front end. They wants to hire me as a DBA to convert their database from paradox to Oracle.

    So please give me idea what are all the basic steps I have to take to convert the database!
