I have several databases (7) on one IBM AIX machine. How do I prompt the user at OS login for a "specific" SID? I've heard that other DBAs write a script for this, but I don't have a clue as to how to write a script to do this. Can anyone help? Or have a script to prompt for a specific SID at OS login.
