Hm, DcsoBob, at the end it seems it turned out that my initial post (the one that kinda upset you, remember? ) was not only a criticism as you initialy saw it. Let me repeat what I wrote few days ago:
The main question I see here is: Why on earth would someone want to take full export of a database every six hours?
I think now you understand where I was pointing to. The main isue was not "How to speed up the export", it was "Do I realy need to do it?" (or at least "Do I realy need to do it so often"). And also "Am I aware of all the implication of my backup/recovery scenario and is it doable at all?".

And don't forget about your new mantra from Jeff....
