    TNS-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection

    hello one and all,

    Would the error message above cause us to have ora-04030 errors or are they completely separate?

    I raised an Oracle SR about it and they are suggesting that the Oracle process is running out of RAM (hitting the magical 2gb limit, didnt know there was one!)
