    Unhappy

    Hi all,

    I need some help here.
Log in as svrmgr30 and got the msg below,
"No message file for product=rdbms80, facility=MGR"

How can I get "message file" back?

Check to make sure that you have defined the oracle_home correctly. Also check to make sure that you have rdbms80 under your oracle_home directory.

If you have metalink support, I would suggest that you just do a search on your error message and there are a number of forums that had discussed about this.

If you don't have one, please let me know and I'll try to put out a few.

    Hello,

Not sure what version of the installer are you using, there was a bug 995509 with installer V3.3.1.2.1 (Abstract: SERVER MANAGER WON'T START & CAN'T FIND
MESSAGE FILES) which was fixed in V3.3.1.2.2 of the Oracle installer. If you have any questions on this please post to Server forum and let us know if you need
    assistance with using OEM.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

This seems to be only ORACLE_HOME problem, set all the environment params properly including ORACLE_SID
and start the svrmgrl and see
