How I find any the patch set available for old oracle e.g. 8.0.6?

On this forum, sometimes, someone post a tar number.
How I look/search a tar if I only have tar number? the metalink need to enter a tar number and country code to retrieve a tar.

You don't want to apply any patch that are specific to a tar number. Because, it might be a patch to solve a specific application related issue which your shop may not be interested at. You would want to apply only those patches that had been officially released by oracle from their FTP site.

Check out their FTP site for details on the patches that are available.

sorry, I don't think I make my question is clear.

We have some application using 8.0.6, My boss ask me,
does any patch for 8.0.6 available, if yes, find out what
bug fixed - we might need it.

question: how and where I can find out any patch available for 8.0.6? so I can get more detail info from release note
