Thread: modifying init.ora

    i don't find parameters like shared_pool_reserved_min_alloc
    in my init.ora

    this parameter doesn't appear in v$parameter view too.

    can i add manually this or/and any parameter to init.ora?

    Yes you can many of the parameters wont be available in init.ora .According to DBA's needs it can be added.Save the init.ora and bounce back the DB.
