UTF8 Charecter set (store in Japanese)

Hi.. I have a requirement to store Japanese charecters in the database. My database is created as UTF8, both the nls_character-set and as well as nls_nchar_character_set.. I am still unable to store Japanese into my db, but I could store French, German, Italian etc.., Should I pay attention to any other things as well (such as client side, server side..)

You have to setting up server part and client as well like that:
export NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8

If you use Unix as server you have to setting environment up on for this machine like that

export LANG=en_US.utf8 - (optional)
export NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8

for clients machines (if you use Windows) you have to do the same for NLS_LANG other variables are optional.
Check settings of clients machines and environment on server.
Settings of the database are fine.

This is the output of the query from NLS_DATABASE_PARAMETERS, I belive. This tels us nothing about the NLS settings of your client. Connect from your client and perform the same select as above, but this time from NLS_SESSION_PARAMETERS. What NLS_LANGUAGE and NLS_TERRITORY do you get?
