Can any body tell me the differnece between standard oracle 8 and Enterprises oracle 8.

There is a chart at the bottom of the paper that shows the features and option available.
Now to answer your question in short. Price is a major difference with the EE edition being much more. Also, EE supports partitioning, OPS, and many other high-availabilty/performance additions. But the link should have all your answers.
