    Hi,

I've just configured the OEM using OEM Configuration Assistant and tried to start the Management Server service in Win2000. The following is returned:

Starting to Oracle Management Server...d:\Oracle\admin\orb\resources.ora is not found!
    VXA-3008: Starting OMS Services, Wait.

The OMS is now started and ready
[Host IP Address-DiscoverThread][Date]Discovery of Host IP Address failed due to null

    Any idea?? please please

    OEM-Config

    Hi, 19th April 2001 18:06 hrs chennai.

Did you install OEM in a seperate folder than the oracle DB?

Are you trying to connect from client to server through OEM?

    Cheers

    Padmam

    Hi Padmam,

When I install, I just accept all the default paths, don't recognise are they in the same or separate folder.

And, I install all (Oracle Enterprise Server, Database and the OEM) in the same machine, not connecting from client to server.
