Three posts, and they're all by you. I wonder if that's how Dell started out...

well you know... forums with too many topics make people simply hard to track which one is useful. when I come here I know where I can find the things I am interested, administration forum. the problem with too many different topics forum is that when people starts to cross posting you simply lose track

that is why I NEVER use http://www.orafans.com, it has probably 35 forums there? Which one should I use?

    I also agree with Pando.
Initially i was supporting the idea of a o/s forum but after visiting http://www.orafans.com i think the way http://www.dbasupport.com handles it is fine.

    Thanks

I agree, I try to visit dbasupport once a day (in average). main reason is "simple" and quick response (compare to
    other site).

how about metalink forum, my experience is too many topic to find out what you are looking for and very slow during the mid day.

but it is simple to handle with at least 2 level structure: forum and sub-forum.

metalink forum sucks in terms of user freindliness. If not for the technical support from oracle i would have never visited metalink forums.

http://www.dbasupport.com forum is by far one of the best oracle forums I have come across.

I think that a lot of people will agree with me.

    Thanks
