Thread: How to find 32 or 64-bit OS?

    How do I find out whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit operating system? I am talking about Sun Solaris 2.7
    There should be an os command, right?

    I think its 64 bit. Go to $O_H/bin dir. and type: file oracle

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!! It worked and I posted my question wrong by the way - I meant Oracle software not os. I meant how to find whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit Oracle software installed.
