    hi,

I received the above error when I exported a table data using
OEM. I think I have setted the right user and password, for all the module is located on the same machine. Here is my configuration:
    oracle8.1.7 personal version/Win2k professional.

    any information will be appreciated.

    Hi,
Try following and let me know the outcome...

    1. Create an NT user (Example oemrep) and set the user rights to "log on as a batch job". You must check "Show advanced user rights" in the lower left corner. Scroll down and select "Log on as a batch job"

    2. Navigate to your oracle home and find the network/agent/tcl directory. If there is a null.tcl file then do nothing otherwise create an empty file and name it null.tcl and save to this directory.
    (example: d:\oracle\ora81\agent\tcl
    null.tcl

    3. Go into Enterprise Manager and set the preferred credential for your node to the username/password you created in step 1. (example Useremrep Pwdemrep Confirmemrep)

i hope this will solve your problem

    RE: VNI-2015

first of all thanks for you help.
I reviewed my user and found that there are not any 'log on as a batch job' item, maybe it cause of my win2k is professional version. BTW, there is already a null.tcl of 1k in the oracle\network\agent\tcl fold.

Does the Enterprise Manager run well on professional Win2k?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    mike
