    I need to install Personal Oracle 8.0.4 on NT, and Developer 6i on the same machine. What should be the order of installation.

    Developer 6i first then Oracle8 or other way around?

    Hi,
    The best order of installation is Oracle and then Developer.Because if u install Developer first and then Oracle there may be chances of Developer not getting connected to Oracle database.If u install Oracle first oracle will load the proper drivers needed for connectivity.
    At my place also I have installed Oracle 8 and then Developer on NT and it worked fine.
