    HI,

    I'm a little lost with this SGA stuff. My box has 512mb of mem. I originally had sga size of:
    share_pool=15mb
    buffer_cache=25mb

    when I ran a checktune.sql script:
    goal: Value Action:
    .99 1.00 Increase the share_pool_size
    .90 .81 Increase the "

    I don't want to allocated more then 100mb for sga.
    what is the rule and applying the size of the sga?

    should the buffer_cache be bigger then the share_pool?

    any advice would be appreciated.

    thanks

    On a Unix box, the sum of SGA size(s) should not be more than half that available RAM on the box.
