    Hello everyone,
I am having this wierd problem in full export. Once in a while some set of tables simple hangs during export. It gives a
.. exporting 1000 rows and just stays there. I am on NT so I do a ctrl+C and kill the process. When I rebuild the table ( create another table drop the existing and rename the new table) then there is no problem. I checked for corruption using dbms_repair package and get no results. THe tables are functional, inserting and reporting works fine. This seems to be recurring on different tables once a month. There is no pattern. I am running 8.1.6 on NT 4.0 SP6. Any suggestions .. help ..

nope, but the table is readonly when I take backups. Its a data mart that gets refreshed once a day. re-boot doesn't work either.

Did you try increasing the buffer size for export ? If not try.
