Unable to connect to Management Server

Hi friends,

Please help me.

WINNT4.O/Oracle 8.1.6.0.0

When I Login to Enterprise Manager I am getting the following error

"Unable to connect to the Management Server TEST. Please ensure that u have entered the correct host name and the status of the managment server"

What does it mean?

Is there any document to give guidance on this.

Hi,

What is the server name where you installed management service ? Check this in the NT Service Control to find the service OracleOraHome81ManagementServer.


If you found the service make sure the service is running.

You can get simple help from the "Help" button on the Enterprise Manager Logon screen.
