Install Oracle 8.1.6 EE on Unixware 7.1.1

Hi,

I tried to install Oracle 8.1.6 Enterprise edition on a Unixware 7.1.1 server.
The environment variables looks OK, and also kernel parameters.
During the relink process I got errors for "unresolved symbols". Ignoring errors, the installation ends, but the executables are all empty!
I tried to manually relink, but the result was the same.

Any suggestions?

Is your product is specific to that platform Or U are using generic Oracle product for unix...

Iam not sure about Unixware...is there any special edition for that platform.

Yes, the product is Unixware - specific.

I guess its OS specific errors. you better talk to your sysadmin and see what those unresolved errors refer to... cuz, I never worked on that platform.

OR post couple of those errors, someone could help you...who is familiar with that platform...
