    Question

    hello everybody i want to insert a pause in a script to use it on svrmgr. I found that in sqlplus we can use pause but it seems that it'zs not ok in svrmgr.

    Not an answer to your Q but, remember 'svrmgr' is not the product that exisits anymore... Make sure your applications doesn't use 'svrmgr' as permanent solution.

    it's a temporary test so i don't care about survival of my apps

    Now I doubt, If whatever command(usual dba cmds) that can be used on svrmgrl can also be used on SQL*Plus, why don't you use sqlplus then ?

    Server manager is not usually Used for Development work. It's powerfull Line mode Tool for DBA and Admin Tasks.

    The Command that can be issued to set in Svrmgr, Can be Found ...

    In Svrmgr Type Show
    It will display all Command that are valid... Thanks
