Thread: Partitioning - Does it cost?

    Hi guys,

    Can you tell me if we need to pay separately for Partitioning? Doesn't it come free with Enterprise Manager? Is there a separate product we need to buy or something????

    yes partition has a separate license. Not only that even the support is for partition is separate.

    oh for your last question there is a Oracle EE CD and if you buy partition the its Oracle EE ( with partition). Partition is not a separate CD. Normally you will get a neat 24 pack CD that includes products you didn't buy licence and come under 30 day trial license terms.
