    Hi

I created new services on windows nt4.0 (oracle 734) by using the command

oradim73 -new -sid <sid> -intpwd <pwd> -startmode auto -pfile <path>

    The problem is :

I could able to see only oracleservice<sid> BUT NOT oraclestart<sid>.

I deleted the instance and recreated the instance then also i couldn't able to see oraclestart<sid> in services.

What could be the problem? Any idea please.

    Thanks
    Ravi

    Ravi,

I know how desperate you are to get this thread answered. Since I'm very femiliar with 8, I couln't comment on this issue.
I would suggest that you post the question at Metalink tar/forum, such that you could get some reply from oracle support.

Sorry for not being able to help on this issue.
