    Hi,

I create a database with the default parameters. I have to recreate it to increase the DB_BLOC_SIZE. What the steps should I take before I recreate it and where can I find the script for that.

    Thanks

One thing you can do if your database is not too big is create another database with different blocksize and export and import the existing database onto newly created database.

There is no way of changing the DB_BLOCK size once the database is created,
You will have to recreate the database and do a FULL EXPORT and IMPORT the data into the new database.

    On command prompt
    >exp system/manager full=Y file=dba.dmp log=dba.log grants=Y rows=Y

Only users with the DBA role or the EXP_FULL_DATABASE role can export in full database mode
