Thread: exp and imp between different platforms

    Hi, all
    Is is possible to exp of schema from the database 8.1.5 on Sun Solaris 2.6 and imp to database 8.1.6 on Linux ? What kind of error would you to expect? How to do it correctly? Thanks for help.

    Since both are of 8i, they tend to share the same libraries in the back. As a result, I wouldn't expect any problem on this.
